This installation refers to the performative quality of repetitive daily acts that slowly shift our space form sanctuary to cell when confronted with duress.

9 television sets on the floor - reffer to the fragmentation of our relationship to the quotidian during house arrest, albeit self imposed.

Silence is imperative.

This installation was set up during the violent protests of 2014 in Caracas, Venezuela.

Esta instalación se refiere a la cualidad performática de nuestros actos cotidianos en tiempos difíciles, transformando el santuario en celda. La fragmentación del hogar en los 9 monitores habla de la ruptura que ocurre en la relación del ser con su espacio bajo arresto domiciliario, bien sea auto impuesto y siempre contra nuestra voluntad.

El silencio es imperativo.
